Smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
We, the grandchildren, will always remember our lolo Fermin as a very hardworking man. Though he had several accomplishments already before we were born, we greatly admired him for the job well done of raising nine children and leading a very big family such as ours. Indeed he had been a great family man.
Our lolo is very loving and caring especially to us grandchildren from the eldest to the youngest, we are all very fond of him. We have so many good memories of him while we were growing up.
How can we forget our moments at the farm or “bukid” as we call it. He used to bring us there to harvest watermelons, eat on banana leaves with our hands and sleep in the afternoon under the trees. We remember stopping him on the street and would not let him go unless he gives us one peso each. Our lolo Fermin contributed to our happy childhood. As young children, lolo Fermin used to give us tasks and gives us some coins in return. We could say that we first learned the value of labor from him.
There are so many good things about our lolo that we would like to mention here but the time now is not enough to describe how a great man he is and how we touched our lives. We know in our hearts that we will always speak of him, his good deeds, his funny jokes, and everything that we remember about our lolo.
Lolo Fermin, we cant imagine our lives now without you but we will move on and everything that we will do we will offer it for your honour.
Lolo Fermin, we your grandchildren, will promise to be successful with our lives because that’s what you always wanted us to be.
Lolo Fermin, thank you for the memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
